🇺🇸⚡️- The US Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink, has sent a letter to staff at Joint Base Charleston instructing them to begin the process of renaming the base to Joint Base Lindsey Graham.

Joint Base Charleston operates the countries largest fleet of C-17 cargo aircraft and hosts over 60 Department of War and Federal Agencies.

🇺🇸⚡️- Marc Rosenblum, executive director for the Office of Homeland Security Statistics (OHSS), has announced he will resign after working with the Department of Homeland Security for almost 10 years, citing the "war on immigrants, the war on feds, and the war on facts (not to mention the crazy war in Iran and the brazen corruption)".

Under then-President Joe Biden, Rosenblum was appointed executive director of the OHSS in 2023 and pledged to release more immigration data on time. Shortly after his appointment, Rosenblum's Office was responsible for changes that led to monthly ICE and Border Patrol statistics on arrests and deportations of illegal immigrants. Since the start of President Trump's second term, his office staff was cut, and this data has been completely blocked from release, with the last release on January 16, 2025.

🇷🇴⚡️- Following the Ukrainian drone incursion into the Constanta port, Romania, in June, the Constanța Maritime Ports Admin has announced they have acquired two Triton sea drones from Ocean Aero, which will monitor water areas surrounding the port to protect the water area and increase response time to security risks.

Ocean Aero, a US company which produces the drone, markets it as an Autonomous Underwater and Surface Vehicle able to collect data from above and below the surface of the water, with the ability to stay on station for 30 days.

🇷🇴🇷🇺⚡️- In the last week, three Russian drones have entered Romanian airspace and were subsequently shot down by NATO and Romanian aircraft.

In response, Romania has expelled a member of the Russian Embassy in Romania.

The Romanian Ministry of Defence has also begun looking for cheaper anti-drone capabilities, after spending roughly 1.5 million euros on aircraft-launched drone interceptors.
