๐ธ๐ฆ๐พ๐ช - BREAKING: Satellite imagery and video footage shows plumes of smoke at Saudi Arabia's Southern Yanbu Oil Terminal in the Red Sea.
The facility is critical for the export of Saudi crude, especially with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, as it serves as one of the two western terminus for the Kingdom's East-West pipeline, the other being the Northern Yanbu Oil Terminal.
The attack likely occurred on Friday evening / Saturday morning, local time. The footage of the attack was geolocated by Middle East Spectator to King Fahd Road.

๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ถ๐พ๐ชโก- Moments ago, a U.S. one-way drone was downed in the Babil Province in Iraq (shown on Rerum Noavrum's map in purple). The group responsible has not yet been identified.
Interestingly, al-Jazeera's Yemen correspondent Ahmed al-Shalfi, citing Iraqi sources, claims an Ansarullah delegation from Yemen recently arrived in Musayyib (shown on the map) in the Babil Province, Iraq, to meet with pro-Iranian Iraqi-based militias. The meeting took place on Saturday, one of the Ansarullah individuals was a senior al-Houthi official Abu Ali al-Azi.
In mid-2024, a U.S. airstrike targeted a house in Jurf al-Shakhar (now Jurf al-Nasr) in northern Babil Province during a clandestine meeting between Ansarullah and Hezbollah figures. Those killed were later identified as Mustafa al-Shabal of Ansarullah and Abu Hassan al-Maliki of Hezbollah.
Ironically, two days after the Ansarullah-Iraqi militias meeting on Saturday, Saudi Arabia claimed Iraqi-based groups attacked ARAMCO's refinery in Abqaiq in the east of the Kingdom.
Has Ansarullah escalated its tit-for-tat campaign with Saudi Arabia by bringing Iraqi-based militias into the fight?

Protestors stormed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, Mellitah oil facilities, administrative buildings of multiple different towns, and the Ministry of Youth building. Protestors also set up multiple roadblocks across Misrata and Tripoli.
Local armed group leaders were also present in the anti-Dbeibeh protests.

๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ถ๐พ๐ชโก- Pro-Iranian Iraqi-based groups have denied attacking Saudi Arabia's Abqaiq oil refinery earlier today.
๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ถ๐พ๐ช - In a bizarre turn of events today, Saudi Arabia claimed that the drones were launched by Iraqi militias towards the Kingdom's eastern airspace and stated that all of them had been intercepted. However, it later emerged that the facility's processing section had sustained significant damage. Ansarullah also announced an operation on Saudi's Yanbu region, western Saudi Arabia, on the other side of the country. There were no reports of drone sightings, impacts or air defense activity in Yanbu.
Reports subsequently surfaced of an apparent meeting between Ansarullah and Iraqi militia groups two days ago in central Iraq, suggesting possible coordination between the two. The Babil Province had frequently been used by pro al-Houthi forces for staging important meetings. A U.S. drone was downed in the Babil region just hours ago. Iraqi-based factions have since denied any involvement in the attack on Saudi Arabia's Abqaiq refinery.
Note, Saudi Arabia has in the past covered offensive operations and attacks on its own territory in similar manner. For instance, just last week, Riyadh struck Ansarullah-controlled Sana'a International Airport. To avoid direct responsibility, it attributed the "successful operation" to Yemen's Aden-based Presidential Leadership Council.

๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ฆโก- Russian forces have captured the town of Chasov Yar, Donetsk region.
"After more than 840 days of fighting, the Battle of Chasiv Yar has effectively come to an end. Russian forces have captured the city, with the last reported Ukrainian holdouts withdrawing from the southwestern outskirts sometime within the past week. Fighting for Chasiv Yar began on April 4, 2024, when Russian mechanized units launched an assault on the Kanal Microdistrict.
The city has been almost completely destroyed, reportedly suffering devastation on a scale exceeding that seen in Bakhmut. The withdrawal appears to have been driven by the deterioration of Ukrainian positions around Kostyantynivka, which threatened to leave the Chasiv Yar garrison cut off," - AMK Mapping.
