However, satellite imagery from July 20 shows an impact at Tower 22 (33.3148254, 38.7011922), a Jordanian military installation in the north of the country, near the tri-border Syria-Iraq-Jordan point.

A significant number of U.S. personnel formerly stationed at al-Tanf had been relocated to Tower 22. The base is currently assessed to host approximately 200–300 U.S. troops and serves as a key hub for counter-terrorism operations.

It's likely that Iranian officials intended to refer to Tower 22 rather than the Syrian garrison at al-Tanf.
