🇮🇷🇦🇪 - Recent satellite imagery indicates that three hardened structures at Sheikh Zayed Air Base (24.49572, 54.98129) have been destroyed.

The purpose of the structures remains unclear, but their design suggests they were more than simple storage facilities. Each structure was protected by substantial earthen embankments, with a single access point (very unusual for storage), while the unusually wide spacing between them is also atypical for conventional storage sites.

The UAE's Ministry of Defense claimed the damage was a result of a "bush fire," and spread to the [expensive and heavily protected] warehouses" that contained "wood and old ammunition."

Note, Sheikh Zayed Air Base serves as the UAE's primary hub for military operations across Africa, supporting activities in Libya, the Central African Republic, Puntland, and more importantly, the arming of Sudan's Rapid Support Forces.
