Additionally, White Evangelical Protestants remain the largest demographic group backing the Israeli government, at around 60%, similar to an April 2025 poll in which 58% of White Evangelicals trusted Netanyahu to make the right policy decision.
Also, the poll suggests nearly a majority of Jews in America hold an unfavorable opinion of the Israeli government at 47%, which may be explained through identity and ideological reasons, as many Jews in America are ideologically opposed to Netanyahu but also view the Israeli government as a destabilizing entity for Jews worldwide. This view was recently outlined by former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel in a speech in Tel Aviv.

Turkey's purchase of the Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile system, an advanced Russian air defence system, led President Trump to exclude Turkey from the F-35 fighter jet program.
The timing of the sale is convenient, as discussions about allowing Turkey back into the F-35 program continue, and Turkey has previously expressed a desire to offload the S-400s in exchange for access to the F-35s.

🇸🇩⚡- Sudanese Joint Darfur Forces have captured Abu Saruj, al-Genina direction, Darfur region, western Sudan. The Joint Darfur Forces are now only 29km from the Rapid Support Forces strategic stronghold of al-Genina, the capital of the West Darfur Province.
🇸🇩⚡- The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have recaptured the border towns of Kulbus and Abu Suruj in the al-Genina direction of Sudan's Darfur region. The loss represents a significant setback for the Joint Darfur Forces, which had been steadily advancing towards the RSF-held stronghold of al-Geneina over the past two to three weeks.
However, the limited RSF counteroffensive in this sector appears to have come at a cost. The group has redeployed a large number of personnel and critical supplies from its ongoing siege of El-Obeid in North Kordofan, potentially creating an opportunity for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) to challenge the semi-blockade around the city.
