🇺🇸⚡️- The US Navy has suspended the search, and announced the passing of the aircrew who went missing after a helicopter crash in the Arabian Sea.

"The U.S. Navy suspended the active search for a Sailor assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5 embarked aboard aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), effective 3:00p.m. AST on July 5, 2026. The Sailor was reported missing July 1st, after an MH-60S helicopter went down in the Arabian Sea. The efforts concluded following an extensive search by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The Sailor’s name is being withheld until at least 24 hours after next-of-kin notification is complete in accordance with Navy policy.

For more than 102 hours, an extensive and coordinated search and rescue effort spanning over 14,000 square miles was conducted." - US Naval Forces Central Command.

🇺🇸🇵🇱⚡️- Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Polish Defence Minister, announced that the US troop rotation (approximately 4,000 troops) that was canceled several weeks ago by the Pentagon will return.

“I was delighted to receive the news from Ms. Stephanie Holmes, the U.S. Deputy Ambassador to Poland, and from the U.S. military attaché in Poland, that the rotation—which had been suspended a few weeks ago—is resuming. It will continue, and the rotation of U.S. troops in Poland will be completed in the coming weeks,” - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Polish Defence Minister.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️- Russian media report that Gazprom, a state-owned oil and gas company and the largest company in Russia by market cap, has reached an agreement with the Russian Ministry of Defence to create anti-drone mobile fire groups to protect Gazprom's oil and gas supply facilities.

Contractors who volunteer would reportedly sign a 3-year contract with Russia's mobilization reserve and would receive employment payments from Gazprom, as well as payments from the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Mobile fire groups are small light infantry teams typically operating from pickup trucks, with small arms or light machine guns mounted on the vehicle, designed to be quick and maneuverable to counter long-range drone attacks.

🇲🇱⚡️- Mali's junta has increased efforts to recapture Anéfis and free the encircled FAMa / Africa Corps garrison in the locality's camp. FLA outlets have reported attempts to send relief convoys to Anéfis from Gao over the past 36 hours. Air strikes and drone strikes from the junta's forces have been increasingly reported around Anéfis.

🇲🇱⚡️- Malian journalists, citing FAMa sources, have confirmed the convoy sent to relieve the junta's forces in Anéfis from Gao was intercepted and forced to turn back. Heavy losses were reported.

Helicopters sent to evacuate wounded personnel have been shot at consistently and could not land. At least 2 helicopters receiving severe damage, with another being shot down.

🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡- An Israeli ground unit is advancing north of the Haddatha Cemetery towards the town of Haris, Tebnine direction, southern Lebanon.

While Israel has previously violated the U.S.-mediated Lebanon–Israel framework agreement through aerial operations, this would mark the first reported instance of a violation involving IDF ground forces.

🇨🇫🇸🇩🇷🇺 - Visual confirmation of Russia's African Corps (formerly the Wagner Group) participating in the recapture of Am Dafok, Birao direction, Central African Republic.

Russia's involvement in the fighting against FRPC, which remains ongoing in the area, supports to Rerum Novarum's earlier assessment that Moscow continues to view its relationship with the Rapid Support Forces as strategically important and is unwilling to allow key supply corridors supporting the group to be severed.

🇾🇪⚡- Overnight, Ansarullah forces launched one of their largest assaults on the southern al-Hodeidah front in years, attempting to capture Jebel (Mt.) Dabbas, a strategically important ridgeline held by the pro-Hadi Yemeni National Resistance Forces (NRF).

The battle lasted nearly 12 hours and marked the second major clash between pro al-Houthi forces and NRF in the area within a matter of weeks. Supported by artillery and mortar fire, al-Houthi backed forces launched repeated attacks in an effort to seize the high ground but were ultimately repelled after suffering heavy losses. Jebel Dabbas remains under NRF control. The fighting comes amid rising tensions across Yemen, as large-scale mobilization is seen on both sides of the line of contact.
