🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡- Under the Lebanon-Israel framework agreement, Israel would have authority to sign off on the placement of the two initial experimental security zones and send its own forces to independently confirm that Hezbollah sites have been dismantled by the Lebanese Armed Forces before withdrawing further back in additional areas, Israeli Channel 15 reports.

Israel alleges these measures are aimed to prevent "past ceasefire violations," when the IDF was falsely told by officials that Hezbollah infrastructure had been dismantled.

In this way, Israel has complete control over the timescale of the withdrawal, and can re-enter sites it had initially withdrawn from without breaking the framework agreement.
