🇺🇸🗽⚡️- Darializa Avila Chevalier has defeated incumbent Congressman Adriano Espaillat in the NY 13th Congressional District primary. Espaillat is the current head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Avila Chevalier had previously made pro-Russian arguments when asked about the Ukraine war alongside boiler plate DSA policies to abolish ICE and nationalize healthcare.

Mayor Mamdani has now gone 3 for 3 in his Congressional endorsements tonight expanding the influence of the DSA further within the Democratic Party.

🇺🇸🗽⚡️- DSA candidates are also winning primary races for the State Assembly and State Senate. New York State has been shifting rapidly towards the GOP in recent years as the Democratic Party in the state keeps lurching to the left.

🇾🇪 - Clashes had erupted for the second time in a week between Ansarullah and former Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces in the Ad Dali region of southern Yemen.
