🇸🇦🇱🇧⚡️- Saudi Arabia has restarted imports of products from Lebanon, after being banned for 5 years.

Saudi Arabia banned the import of fruit and vegetables in 2021, citing risks of Captagon smuggling. Shortly after, they extended the ban to all products after Lebanon's Information Minister criticised Saudi Arabia's involvement in funding the war in Yemen. The source of the crisis was reported in some media to be caused by Saudi's disapproval of Hezbollah influence in Lebanon.

Saudi Arabia did not specify the reasons for the change, but did give the reason "positive steps taken by the Lebanese state", which comes amid Lebanon-Israel negotiations related to the disarming of Hezbollah.

The Iranians do not intend to give up the nuclear project. They have many reasons for this. Starting with the fact that this is a national issue and Iran is a nationalist society. Second, Iran is currently in a situation where it is highly doubtful whether there is a government entity that can make a decision on this matter within Iran.

🇬🇧⚡️- UK Defence Secretary John Healey has resigned over Prime Minister Keir Starmer's inability to provide the required funding to the UK Armed Forces.

🇺🇸🇮🇳⚡️- "U.S. forces disabled an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman at 11:20 p.m. ET on June 10 after the vessel violated the blockade against Iran by attempting to transport Iranian oil, marking the third commercial ship disabled by American forces this week.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) acted against Guinea-Bissau flagged M/T Jalveer as it attempted to transport oil from Iran through the Gulf of Oman. A U.S. aircraft fired two Hellfire missiles into the ship’s engine room after the crew repeatedly failed to comply with directions from U.S. forces.

Earlier this week, U.S. aircraft disabled Palau-flagged vessels M/T Marivex and M/T Settebello on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Marivex violated the blockade by attempting to sail to an Iranian port and Settebello attempted to transport Iranian oil.

CENTCOM forces have disabled nine non-compliant vessels, redirected 135 ships that complied, and allowed 42 vessels supporting humanitarian aid to pass since initiating the blockade on April 13.

The blockade is being enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman." - US Central Command.
