🇷🇺🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡- Vladimir Putin, at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, said that Russia did not supply weapons to Iran during the US-Iran war and that Tehran had not requested any.

He added that there is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, while acknowledging Israel’s concerns on the matter.

The Russian President stated that Moscow had urged Tehran to avoid striking neighbouring Arabian Gulf countries. However, he noted that Iranian officials would respond bluntly, arguing they have come under attack first and felt compelled to retaliate.

🇷🇼🇨🇩🇧🇮⚡- Large convoys of military trucks have begun crossing from Burundi into South Kivu in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, while additional government columns from western DRC are moving towards the Bukavu direction, M23-controlled South Kivu region. This build-up follows a major Wazalendo counteroffensive over the past two months.

In the last 24 hours alone, around 12 trucks reportedly entered the DRC from Burundi, allegedly carrying Burundian troops along with so-called “White” mercenaries (Russian, European, or possibly US- or Israeli-backed fighters).

Government forces, FARDC, haven't yet begun ground operations against M23 as it would be seen as a violation of the ceasefire, despite a relentless aerial campaign during the past two months. However, that could possibly change now, after Wazalendo pushed M23 back to Kamanyola, and therefore almost at Bukavu's southern entrance.

🇮🇩🇯🇵⚡- Japan has entered talks with Indonesia over a possible sale of the Asagiri-class destroyers, marking a further step in Tokyo’s gradual loosening of restrictions on lethal arms exports, a trend pushed by the new Takaichi government.

The move is unlikely to sit well with Beijing, with Chinese President Xi Jinping having recently reiterated his very strong opposition to Japan’s militarisation in talks with Donald Trump, and casts doubt over the Beijing-Jakarta relationship.

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇬🇧🇮🇱⚡️- Jewish community leaders in Spain, France, Britain, and Canada are in contact with State Department officials to explore the possibility of Jews migrating to the US under refugee or other protected status due to the nonstop rise of antisemitism across the West because of the Gaza war, and mass migration of Arabs and Africans into Europe and Canada (that the vast majority of jews supported).

The State Department has yet to indicate any actual program but confirmed these talks are happening.

Rabbi Yehuda Kaplum, the State Departments special envoy to monitor antisemitism, stated when asked by i24NEWS, "It is the government’s responsibility in those countries to make certain that the Jewish community has safety, security and the ability to practice their religion free from any type of harm.
