🇦🇿🇺🇦⚡️- Overnight Ukraine struck two grain carrier vessels in the Azov Sea heading to the Russian port. Both ships were crewed by Azerbaijan contractors, the first ship was hit 4 times and killed two crew members, the second ship was hit multiple times and three were killed.

🇺🇸⚡️- According to Public Citizen, a consumer rights advocacy group, of the 27 publicly identified donors to Trump's ballroom renovation, 14 have received new or increased government contracts over the last 6 months, totaling over $50 billion.

19 of the 27 donors received government contracts over the last 5 ½ years totaling $338 billion.

Sixteen of them are facing federal enforcement actions and/or have had federal enforcement actions suspended by the Trump administration.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️- "A localized ceasefire brokered by the IAEA took effect on the frontline near the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) today, paving the way for crucial power line repairs to prevent the threat of a nuclear accident.

The 750 kV power line was disconnected more than two months ago, leaving Europe’s largest NPP entirely reliant on a single 330 kV line for the electricity it needs to cool its six shutdown reactors.

In recent weeks, the ZNPP has several times lost access also to this line, forcing it to start operating its emergency diesel generators as a last resort.

It is the sixth temporary ceasefire that IAEA DG Rafael Mariano Grossi has negotiated with Russia and Ukraine since late last year to help secure off-site power and ensure nuclear safety." - IAEA

🇧🇩🇮🇳⚡- "Bangladesh said it had foiled several attempts by India to force people into the country over the previous 24 hours.

Border Guard Bangladesh said it had detected 10 attempted infringements by Indian authorities along several sections of the border.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Putin responds to Zelensky's open letter refusing to meet in person, saying currently he sees "no point" in such a meeting.

🇷🇺🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡- Vladimir Putin, at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, said that Russia did not supply weapons to Iran during the US-Iran war and that Tehran had not requested any.

He added that there is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, while acknowledging Israel’s concerns on the matter.

The Russian President stated that Moscow had urged Tehran to avoid striking neighbouring Arabian Gulf countries. However, he noted that Iranian officials would respond bluntly, arguing they have come under attack first and felt compelled to retaliate.

🇷🇼🇨🇩🇧🇮⚡- Large convoys of military trucks have begun crossing from Burundi into South Kivu in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, while additional government columns from western DRC are moving towards the Bukavu direction, M23-controlled South Kivu region. This build-up follows a major Wazalendo counteroffensive over the past two months.

In the last 24 hours alone, around 12 trucks reportedly entered the DRC from Burundi, allegedly carrying Burundian troops along with so-called “White” mercenaries (Russian, European, or possibly US- or Israeli-backed fighters).

Government forces, FARDC, haven't yet begun ground operations against M23 as it would be seen as a violation of the ceasefire, despite a relentless aerial campaign during the past two months. However, that could possibly change now, after Wazalendo pushed M23 back to Kamanyola, and therefore almost at Bukavu's southern entrance.
