🇬🇧⚡️- Restore Britain has not been invited to appear on BBC Question Time for the Makerfield by-election special, despite polling in third place, per GB News.

BBC Question Time is a TV program in which MPs, officials from British parties, or high-profile British figures are brought on to discuss policy and politics with the opposition, in front of an audience that then asks the politicians questions. It is one of the most popular and important shows for politicians in Great Britain to establish themselves or their party.

Restore Britain has been left off the BBC panel, effectively amounting to state censorship because of the party’s openly pro-British and right-wing politics.

🇺🇸🎬⚡- The newly released “Backrooms” film has already become the highest-grossing A24 film in just five days.

The film is rising in popularity due to its online origin story and cultural familiarity among Generation Z, and as the director, Kane Parsons, is 20 years old.

🇺🇸🇫🇷🇹🇷⚡- President Trump to attend NATO's summit in Turkey in July and the G7 summit in France on June 15.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- Congress has passed an Iran War Powers resolution to limit President Trump’s war capabilities in Iran.

The vote was 218-205, with Republican Reps. Thomas Massie, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tom Barrett, and Warren Davidson crossed party lines to support the resolution.

🇺🇸🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡- BREAKING: Following today's talks between officials from Beirut and Tel Aviv in Washington, the State Department has announced a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.

🇺🇸🇱🇧🇮🇱 - Joint US, Lebanese, and Israeli statement:

"The United States convened the fourth high-level trilateral meeting between Israeli and Lebanese representatives on June 2 and 3, 2026. 

As a result of the U.S. led negotiations, Israel and Lebanon agreed to the implementation of a ceasefire. The ceasefire is contingent on a complete cessation of Hezbollah fire and the evacuation of all Hezbollah operatives from the South Litani Sector.

The two sides agreed with the guidance of the United States to swiftly advance the creation of pilot zones in which the Lebanese Armed Forces will take exclusive control of the territory to the exclusion of all non-state actors. 

These steps will enable progress towards a comprehensive peace and security agreement.

All countries reaffirmed that the future of the relationship between Israel and Lebanon must be decided by the two sovereign governments. They rejected any attempt, by any state or non-state actor, to hold Lebanon’s future hostage.  

The delegations discussed a security framework, aimed at sustainably ensuring the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Lebanon and Israel. This includes the dismantlement of non-state armed groups, and the prevention of their re-emergence. 

All parties condemned Iran’s attacks on countries in the region, and ongoing activities that undermine stability throughout the Middle East, whether through support for proxies and all other acts of aggression. 

Israel reaffirmed that its security and respect for its territorial integrity can only be achieved through the disarmament of Hezbollah and the dismantlement of its infrastructure throughout Lebanon. 

Lebanon reaffirmed the necessity for mutual respect of internationally recognized borders, the urgent need for full implementation of the cessation of hostilities, underscoring the principles of territorial integrity and full state sovereignty.

The two parties agreed to reconvene the political and security tracks the week of June 22, with a view toward reaching a comprehensive agreement."

🇸🇴⚡- Somalian President Hassan Mohamud has dispatched a diplomatic team to Hassan Khaire's house for talks, after American and British officials demanded an end to the violence in Mogadishu.

The fighting erupted after Hassan Mohamud accused Khaire of siding with the Puntland-led opposition against his presidential term. The opposition claim Mohamud's term expired on May 15. In retaliation, Khaire deployed loyal military personnel just 2km from Villa Somalia, the official presidential residency of Hassan Mohamud.
