VELORA was attacked by two drones, while JAMES II was struck once. ALTURA, which had been hit in the past, was also targeted. The crews of all three tankers were safely evacuated.

🇷🇴🇷🇺 - Following the Russian drone incursion that impacted an apartment building in Galati, Romania today, the Russian consul in Constanta will be closed, and the Consul General has been declared persona non grata.

Russia still maintains their main diplomatic mission, the Embassy in Bucharest. The Consulate in Constanta was used to provide services to the Russian population of south eastern Romania, such as help with passports of visas.
