🇺🇸🇻🇪⚡️- The head of Venezuela's National Assembly, ​Jorge Rodriguez (The brother of acting president Delcy Rodríguez) has said they will release 300 prisoners this week.

Three former police officers, who are considered to be political prisoners, have already been released. Erasmo Bolívar, Héctor Rovain, and Luis Molina have been imprisoned for the last 23 years with charges that opposition parties claim were politically motivated charges related to the failed 2002 Venezuelan coup attempt against Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez.

🇨🇳🇷🇺⚡️- China being too lazy to create a unique welcoming party for major BRICS partner Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Chinese Great Hall of the People, instead ran a 1:1 repeat of the same welcome that was given to President Trump.

🇬🇧🇷🇺⚡️- The UK has issued a sanctions waiver on diesel and jet fuel that are refined using Russian origin crude, as long as the products were refined in a third party country (The product can be refined anywhere except Russia, as long as it doesn't violate other sanctions, for example Iran), as well as a waiver on sea-borne Russian liquid natural gas.

The waiver on diesel and jet fuel has no expiration date; the Russian LNG waiver expires on January 1st, 2027.

🇱🇹🇺🇦🇧🇾⚡️- "Lithuania has issued an air alert in parts of the country after a suspected drone approaching from Belarus was detected near the border. NATO Baltic Air Policing has been activated." - Lithuanian Ministry of Defence.

🇱🇹🇪🇪⚡️- Two French Dassault Mirage 2000s apart of NATO's air policing mission are active over Estonia, along with a military signals intelligence aircraft monitoring the Russian borders.

A US military signals intelligence aircraft is also active over Latvia.

A reminder that yesterday, Latvia also had activated drone alerts due to an intrusion from a Ukrainian drone, although the origins of this drone are unknown.

The Israeli Government is currently discussing a bill that would allow the drafting of haredi ultra orthodox jews, who are currently exempt from mandatory IDF service.

The move comes after an apparent realization among Emirati decision-makers that Pakistan is too important a country to be on the wrong side of.
