🇱🇻🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️- The Latvian Military has published a notice for a drone threat in Latvian airspace, stating that NATO air policing fighters have been deployed, and for residents to seek shelter until the all clear is given.

The notice applies to the region of Krāslava, Preiļi, Ludza, and Rēzekne, which cover Latvia's south eastern border with Belarus.

🇷🇺🇧🇾⚡️- The Russian Ministry of Defence has also published its own statement on the exercise, aimed at the use and preparation of Nuclear forces in combination with Belarus. Russia says 64,000 troops, involving 7,800 pieces of military equipment, involving over 200 missile launchers, more than 140 aircraft, 73 surface ships, and 13 submarines, will take part in the 2-day exercises.

🇪🇪⚡️- Estonian Defense Minister, Hanno Pevkur, told the media that NATO's Baltic air policing aircraft shot down a drone over southern Estonia. “This is the first time we have shot down a drone ourselves,” Pevkur said.

Pevkur said the drone was likely to be a Ukrainian drone.

🇮🇷⚡️- Iranian News outlet Mehr reports explosions were heard on Qeshm Island, with the source unknown.

Mehr also reported that at 10:30pm local time, air defences on Qeshm island were activated in response to hostile drones.

🇬🇧🇮🇱⚡️- British Airways has announced the extension of flight suspensions to Israel, with the restrictions now lasting until August 1st, 2026.

🇸🇾⚡- Syria's health department reports 12 casualties which includes military and civilian. One confirmed death so far.

🇪🇺🇷🇺🇨🇳⚡- Reuters, citing European intelligence, says China secretly trained 200 Russians troops last year, with some later returning to fight in Ukraine.

The agreement will also see Chinese troops undergoing training in Russia in the future.
