🇺🇸⚡️- A critical, unpatched Windows 11 BitLocker zero-day named "YellowKey" has been leaked online. It is believed to be an NSA/TAO backdoor.

Released by researcher Nightmare-Eclipse, the exploit allows anyone with physical access to bypass default TPM-only encryption via a USB drive. By targeting an obscure "FsTx" framework hidden inside the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), attackers gain full read/write drive access. Microsoft has no patch yet. Defenders should immediately run reagentc /disable in CMD to kill WinRE.

🇺🇸🇻🇪⚡️- Venezuela has announced they have deported close Maduro ally and former Venezuelan Minister of Industry and National Production, Alex Saab, to the United States to face criminal investigations.

Alex Saab is a Colombian businessman who made his wealth through government contracts awarded to him by the Maduro government, although after Maduro's capture, Saab quickly fell out of favour with the new government led by Delcy Rodríguez and was removed from his position.

Saab was arrested in February this year during a joint operation between the FBI and Venezuelan authorities. This marked the first US–Venezuela law-enforcement cooperation since Maduro's capture.

Alex Saab has previously been arrested by American law enforcement when he stopped in Cape Verde for a fuel stop while flying to Iran before being extradited. In 2023, then-President Joe Biden released and pardoned Alex Saab in exchange for 10 U.S. citizens who were imprisoned in Venezuela.

US demands:
- No compensation for war damages,
- Transfer of Iran's 400kg uranium to the US,
- Iran to maintain just a single nuclear facility in the entire country,
- No release of Iran's frozen assets,
- Ceasefire conditional on the success of US-Iran talks, a permanent ceasefire is not guaranteed.

Iranian demands:
- Ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon,
- Lifting of all sanctions on Iran,
- Release of all frozen assets tied to the Iranian state,
- War damages compensation,
- Recognition of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

🇮🇶🇮🇱⚡- Iraqi sources tell the New York Times that Israel operated not one, but two secret military bases in the Najaf and Karbala deserts, western Iraq. One of the bases is believed to have been operational for well over a year.

🇺🇸🇨🇺⚡- Cuba acquired 300 drones, mostly from Russia and Iran, and were discussing using them against US military installations on the island or nearby area, Axios reports, citing classified intelligence.

🇪🇬🇦🇪⚡- Egypt is reportedly offering to deploy an AMOUN air defence battery to the United Arab Emirates in order to strengthen its protection against potential Iranian threats, according to Emirati media sources.
