🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ - Trump's ultimatum to Tehran ends at 8:00 PM EDT (3:30 AM Tehran time) tonight, leaving just under ten hours. The deadline, set a week ago amid rising tensions over Iran's "nuclear" program, has led to a regional military buildup. In the Middle East theater, the U.S. Navy has positioned two carrier strike groups, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) and its strike group are operating in the Eastern Mediterranean, while the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) carrier strike group are operating in the Arabian Sea and has performed non-stop offensive operations on Iran since day one.

The USS Tripoli (LHA-7) is in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, and it includes roughly 2,500 Marines as part of an amphibious assault group.

Meanwhile, the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) and its carrier strike group are currently underway towards the Eastern Mediterranean and are expected to arrive in the CENTCOM area of responsibility within a week. The USS Boxer and its amphibious assault group are expected to arrive around the same time with an additional 2,500 Marines.
