The Saudi-backed Homeland Shield Forces have recently entered Ataq, capital of the Shabwah region, and are on their way to take over Aden.

Aden, Ad Dali and the Lahij regions are under the Giant Brigades control, who have defected to the Saudi-side. The Giant Brigades are currently expelling the Southern Transitional Council from military positions in the three regions. The Tihamah region remains under the control of the pro-Saudi Tihamah Forces.

Purple: Saud-backed Homeland Shield Forces, HSF, who are sweeping through the territory of Shabwah right now.

Blue: Abyan Security Council, which defected to the Saudi-side earlier this morning. Abyan has said they will welcome the HSF upon arrival.

Yellow: National Resistance (pro-Hadi forces), YNR. The YNR have mostly defected to the Saudi-led side as well, which includes the Giants Brigades, the Republican Guards, and the Tihamah Forces.

Saudi-backed HSF have not yet secured the entirety of southern Yemen yet. There are no HSF in Ad Dali, Aden, or Lahij – not yet at least.

The only troops loyal to the STC that remain in Aden are the Storm Brigade, who are being arrested by the Giants Brigade.

🇺🇸⚡️- Polling from The Speaking With American Men Project shows that young men are souring on Trump and JD Vance. Vance particularly now has a lower approval than figures such as Andrew Tate.

Charlie Kirk remains held in high esteem while the behavior of his wife has not made her popular.

Democrats however fare no better as every major figure besides Bernie Sanders and Barack Obama have abysmal favorability with this group who also give the GOP the edge on every major issue still despite voicing frustrations with Trump's adventurism and not delivering enough results.

🇺🇸⚡️- These are from an early draft of the DNC's post election multimillion dollar study on why they lost young men in 2024.

The study separates men into 5 generalizes groups finding most could be considered right leaning with only 19% openly being leftist, with another 14% generally liberal.

The study tries to emphasize that young men are mainly non-ideological and can be won over by the Democrats with good governance and Democratic politicians giving men a fair hearing instead of casting away their concerns as they have for years.

🇾🇪⚡- A curfew has been announced by the pro Southern Transitional Council Storm Brigades in Aden.
