Fiqi says the airbase is used as a logistical hub, which then transports the mercenaries and weapons to Chad and other neighbouring countries to then join the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan.

While Fiqi did not name anyone specifically of being behind the campaign of funding the RSF, however as Rerum Novarum has in the past pointed out, Bosaso Air Base has only one user – the UAE.
