🇺🇸🗳⚡️- The floor is collapsing for the Virginia GOP due to Winsome Earl-Sears dragging the party down with her. Democrats will retain control of the Virginia House of Delegates. Currently looking like a stronger performance for the Democratic party than the 2017 blue wave in the wake of the Charlottesville rally.

Only saving grace so far for the GOP is a nail biter Attorney General race.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Democrat Jay Jones has been elected Attorney General of Virginia, completing the blue wave in the state.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Tonight's results for the GOP across the country appear universally worse than 2017's in local and statewide elections. The sluggish economy and increasing unpopularity of the Trump Administration is making up for a lack of unified "resistance" movement that marked Trumps first term.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Republican Carrie Coyner, whom Jay Jones texted saying he wants to watch White republican children die, has been defeated in her House of Delegates election.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- New York polls close in 8 minutes. Turnout in the city is the highest in city history for a Mayoral race.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Exit polls and election results show young voters returning to the Democratic Party en masse in Virginia and New Jersey compared to 2024 after they shifted heavily to the GOP.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Election result appear to be matching exit surveys showing Hispanics and young people reverting to the Democratic party in New Jersey and Virginia.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Zohran Mamdani has been elected Mayor of New York City.

🇺🇸⚡️🗳- Virginia Democrats are on the verge of achieving a supermajority in the House of Delegates.

🇺🇸🗽🗳⚡️- So far the only Democrat underperforming expectations is Mamdani in New York City however he will still win the race.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Based on averaging election results and comparing to 2024 Rerum Novarum is estimating the current national environment to be around D+4, meaning in a national contest democrats would win the popular vote by 4 points.

This is nearly an inverse of 2022 where the GOP held a national advantage of 3 points.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- GOP insiders saying this is the worst election night for the party since 2018.

🇺🇸🗽🗳⚡️- Andrew Cuomo is only winning the Financial District (ground zero) by 1 vote.
