🇸🇾⚡- Kurdish sources say the ones responsible for the checkpoints around al-Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud districts, SDF-controlled Aleppo, are the 51st Brigade (Hamza Division) – a group funded directly by the Turkish MiT.

In the past, the division has fought as mercenaries for Turkey in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh against Armenia.

As part of the agreement between the SDF and Damascus in March, the SDF were supposed to provide the locations of all tunnels in the Aleppo - Tall Rifat area.
