๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ฆโก- Ukrainian troops have launched an incursion into the Kursk region, Russia, advancing several hundred meters. Four tanks are allegedly involved as part of the incursion.
๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ฆ - One year ago today Ukraine launched its Kursk military operation.
The total area in Kursk captured by Ukrainian forces during the operation was 1,159 sqkm (reference: Map 1). Today, Ukraine holds less than 20 sqkm of territory, mainly around the town of Otruba (Tetkino direction) and some farms southwest of Gornal.
Ukrainian authorities are adamant that the Kursk offensive did not hinder Ukrainian defensive lines in other positions. Maps 2-5 shows Russian progress since the start of the Kursk operation in all directions. Since the start of Ukraine's Kursk operation, Russia has captured 5,295 sqkm of territory across Ukraine, including 198 sqkm in Sumy.

๐ต๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ - Situation update in the Gaza Strip:
In May, Israel launched the Gideon's Chariots Operation, hoping to increase territorial control of the Gaza Strip to 75% - which has not happened. The offensive has been a complete disaster.
Israel controlled 40% of the Gaza Strip before the operation, Israel now controls 179 sqkm of territory - 49% of the strip. 75% of the Gaza Strip has been declared a no-go zone for Palestinians, restricting their access, however, as stated not all of the no-go zones have come under IDF control.
The security cabinet is expected to meet today, with Likud's right-faction pushing ahead with the complete Gaza annexation plan, which is rejected by Strategic Minister Dermer and Defense Minister Katz, who support encircling Gaza city only.
Key:
Pink: Israeli control of the strip.
Purple: Israeli security belt within the strip.
Blue: Israeli-backed Yasser Abu Shabaab's Palestinian militia, southeast Rafah.
Yellow: Israeli constructed corridors (construction at some, such as the Magen Oz Corridor, are still ongoing).
Note, the 75% no-go zones are not shown on the map.
