Russia had prepared Su-35s after a cancelled purchase-order by Egypt, which were instead transported to Algeria, even though the North African country had not requested the jets. The deal was as part of a 'goodwill gesture' by Moscow, Algeria would use the Su-35s temporarily, while it waited on the Su-57s it requested.

The purchase of the S-400 by Saudi Arabia is unconfirmed, while Russia was ready to sell, Saudi officials have shown 'no interest'.
