Piker has called for violence before and not been penalized as Twitch staff are fans of his. However, the company is under the Jeff Bezos umbrella, and he may be finally cracking down on the platform.

Bezos recently ordered his Washington Post to reign in their opinion section from being anti capitalist and over the top anti-Trump as they have been for years now, it is possible he is going to order Twitch to change their site rules to allow free expression alongside a crackdown on leftist streamers who have effectively run the site since the end of the 2010s.
