Ukrainian forces are attempting to enter Kruglik and Berdin in the north. Ukrainian troops captured a forest belt east of Mikhailovka, and are now dropping small Ukrainian offensive groups east of it, towards Pushkarnoe and Russkaya Konopelka.

Ukrainian forces have captured 24 sqkm of area.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Russian military journalists say due to Ukraine's powerful electronic warfare in the Kursk region, the use of drones are impossible, as the "ping is high". So to find targets for their guide bombs, Russians have to use "long-forgotten methods" - binoculars.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Missile sirens in Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Oryol and Kaluga regions of Russia. Russian monitoring forces predict possible Ukrainian launches.

🇮🇳⚡️- A NOTAM has gone active in the Bay of Bengal. India is likely to test an ICBM (possibly a MIRV) in the sea.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 - The goal of Ukraine's counteroffensive in the Kursk region of Russia is likely to capture the large town of Bolshoe Soldatskoe, which the Ukrainians can then turn into a defensive position and buy itself time until the negotiations begin.

Across the front over the past two years, Ukrainians have proven to be able to fortify similar settlements with large green and open spaces in the Donbass region, slowing Russian advances. Bolshoe Soldatskoe is similar, and in this case, the goal is likely to buy Kiev time.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Some Russian sources believe that the current Ukrainian offensive in Kursk is a 'diversion' and 'the main blow will be dealt elsewhere'.

This weekend he will be meeting with the House Freedom Caucus, Committee Chairs, SALT lawmakers (Republicans from Blue states who are trying to get SALT deductions back into the tax code, which Trumps 2017 tax cuts got rid of), and a cross section of other House members to top it off.

It's expected that Senate leadership and Committee members will be visiting Trump before Jan 20th as well.
