After last night's fog of war, Jabal Zain al-Abidin Mountain is confirmed to be under Syrian Arab Army control. The clashes that were allegedly 'inside' Hama, were in fact south of Hashemia, just on the outskirts of the city.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, for the 5th time now, claims entry into the city. After the first 4 proved to be false.

There are reports of Russian strikes inside Hama - these reports are unconfirmed.

🇸🇾⚡- Syrian Arab Army withdraws from the Jabal Zain al-Abidin Mountain. The frontline is now at gates of Hama.

🇸🇾⚡- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham have captured Hama Military Airport, with several fighter jets still there.

The Syrian Arab Army had an entire week to relocate the jets...

Zino Yasser Mahameed, Tahrir al-Sham frontline journalist, claims clashes are still taking place in the city. He announces that the HTS only moments ago captured the Police Administration Building.

🇸🇾⚡- Pro-Assad media claim Hayat Tahrir al-Sham are bringing heavy reinforcements to the Hama direction. Likely indicating a possible offensive towards Homs.

Fighting is already reported in the two towns south of Hama, al-Khalidiyah and Raabon. HTS have also advanced to the outskirts of Salamiyah, capturing the towns of Hamra, Ali Kusun and Kherson.

A Syrian Arab Army garrison is still positioned in Qomhane and Mt. Jabal Zain al-Abidin, to the east. The garrison has promised to fight till death, despite being surrounded.

🇸🇾⚡- 36km till Homs, Syria.

🇸🇾 - Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has moved 137km south of Aleppo in 5 days, and are 36km from Homs, 171km from Damascus.

After over a decade of civil war, the Syrian Arab Army failed to build any defenses, not one in the entire country.

In comparison, the map shows all of Ukraine's trench networks, dugouts and other fortifications in just the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions. (Russian defenses are not shown on this map.)
