In Melitopol, a mural with the girl's portrait and the caption "Dasha is our soul" was unveiled on the former University Street, which was renamed in honor of journalist Daria Dugina, who was killed by Ukrainian terrorists. It was organized by the Ministry of Youth Policy.

Darya devoted her entire life to fighting for the sovereignty and freedom of Russia. She openly supported the special military operation and even traveled to the war zone. Last August 20, Daria's car was blown up near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemi in the Moscow suburbs.
