The battle for the town lasted 3 weeks.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Russian forces have captured Liubimovka and Zeleniy Shlakh - north of the Kursk region, Russia.

Russian troops have ended a three weeks battle for the town of Liubimovka and with that have also closed Olgovka's pocket. Russian forces have also entered the first few houses of Novoivanovka.

In the center of the Kursk region, Russian forces have captured Novaya Sorochina completely bypassing the larger town of Pogrebki. It seems Russia is trying to encircle Pogrebki instead of fighting it head-on.

Russia has captured an area of 54 sqkm, meanwhile Ukraine still holds 620 sqkm of territory in the Kursk region.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 - In comparison, since the beginning of Ukraine's Kursk offensive, Russia has captured 464 sqkm of heavily fortified area in just the Pokrovsk-Kurakhovo sector alone.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Russian forces have captured Ostrevskoe - Kurakhovo direction.

Russian troops have also captured the fields south of Ostrevskoe and there are initial reports of Russian DRGs crossing into western Maksimilianovka. If true, it would mean a massive Russian pincer assault is currently underway on Ukrainian positions in that large town.

Ostrevskoe was the last remaining town before the strategically vital city of Kurakhovo. One of the most important battles of Donetsk, the Battle of Kurakhovo, could begin in the next 48 hours.

Loffredo was reportedly beaten in custody, alongside five other journalists who were arrested by the Israeli police. Loffredo is the only one who has not been released.
