Ugandan troops have been involved in peacekeeping efforts in Somalia since 2007. Okello blasts Egypt for trying to "distract" the issue from "stabilizing Somalia" into a political "conflict with Ethiopia".

Later this month the second 'Nile Summit' will be held in Uganda which will bring together the upstream countries and could deprive Egypt of its historical rights over the Nile's water resources.

🇸🇩⚡- Darfur Joint Forces, DJF, have launched a massive counter-offensive against the Rapid Support Forces, RSF, in the west of the country, Darfur direction.

DJF have captured Hadjer and fighting is still ongoing in Dadei and Kuka. The objective of the counter attack seems to be to reach the outskirts of the city of al-Junaynah - a major RSF stronghold. Isolating the city by taking control of its supply routes will seriously affect RSF control in the south-west of the country.

🇸🇩⚡- Footage shows a large number of Rapid Support Forces vehicles and weapons seized by the Darfur Forces.

🇸🇩⚡- Sudan's Armed Forces, SAF, launched a surprising counter attack in the Sennar direction.

SAF stormed the strategically important town of Jebel Moya from the east and west. The town is located on very high ground.

With the loss of Jebel Moya, the Rapid Support Forces in the Sennar sector are now completely cut-off and encircled.
