In the east, Russian forces captured the 'Flower', a complex network of trenches and defenses which were vital for Ukraine's defense of Gornyak. Just east of the 'Flower', Russian troops captured Second Zhelannoe.

In the center Russian forces have entered Gornyak from another direction, this time from the north.

In the east, Ukraine lost multiple fortifications which has left Tsukurinoe completely exposed. As a result, Russian forces have already entered the first few houses and therefore the battle for the strategic settlement has begun.
