Over the past few days Russian forces expanded control southwards, capturing the Volcha lakes and the towns of Kalinovoe and Memrik. Ukrainian forces control the majority of the vital E50 supply route. Only one large fortification remains under Ukrainian control along this highway, if lost, it will put Karlovka at semi-encirclement.

Russian forces have captured Nikolaivka and Marinovka, also capturing the large town of Novogrodovka - only the waste heap in the west of the town remains under Ukrainian control.

Slightly north, Ukrainian forces withdrew from Grodovka and took positions in the trench systems and fortifications north of the town. Russian forces control 90% of the town.

Russian forces captured Krasniy Yar and Nikolaivka, which is located just 1.5km south of the city of Mirnograd.

Further north, Russian forces advanced 1km north of Novotoretskoe, towards Mirolyubovka.

More importantly, the battle of Selidovo has begun.
In the past few hours, Russian forces have entered and captured the first few streets in Selidovo.

🇫🇷⚡️- Pavel Durov has been brought to trial after his detention in France.

🇺🇸🇸🇾⚡️- An American fighter jet was allegedly shot down over Syria, the pilot safely ejected from the aircraft and is believed to have landed in pro-Iranian held territory. US officials are awaiting confirmation on whether or not the pilot is alive.
