A group has been created for other users who have an oppo device with mt6785 (oppo6785 is the codename realme uses, not something we made up.)

This group is currently for Realme 7 and Narzo 20 Pro users to discuss.

My current plan is to merge Realme 6 and 7's
Gaming and Photography groups under the name of Wasabi.

Wasabi is the codename for unified oppo6785 devices

QS: Aren't Realme 6 and 7 same device, why shouldn't we merge update channels and discussion groups?

Answer: Not yet. We don't know if everything of Realme 6 will work on Realme 7. But what we sure know is that Realme 6 firmware is working on Realme 7, and OSS vendor, custom kernel and REALME UI 2.0 based (ONLY) roms can be used on Realme 7. There's also some other differences.


I don't want this to take too long. I will make an announcement explaining the changes in groups later.

What is RM6785?

RM6785 is a unified codename, it signifies Realme devices using MT6785 (Helio G90T/G95) SoC and it covers:

Realme 6, 6i(ONLY INDIAN VARIANT), 6s
Realme 7, Narzo 20 Pro and Narzo 30 4G

Realme 6 users can use EVERYTHING here, while Realme 7/N20P users can ONLY AND ONLY use kernels, recoveries and ROMs based on UI2.0
