Ordered a simple dum aloo banarasi from Aminia and got a bowl half of oil. Something that I'm noticing in a lot of Kolkata restaurants off late. Ridiculously oily food everywhere.

I saw a very unusual thing today, which made me uncomfortable

Today, while filling my water bottle, I saw a lizard on the wall beside the water filter following a very small baby lizard (1-1.5 inches). I thought it might be the mother following her baby and was happily observing. But then came the unfortunate part: the large lizard suddenly jumped onto the baby lizard and grabbed it in its mouth. Even then, I thought maybe the lizard wanted to carry its baby, but then it started swallowing it gradually. The baby lizard was shivering throughout.

It was painful and uncomfortable to watch, and I felt bad for not doing anything. I'm unsure if this is usual lizard behavior or if they've become evil like humans.

Has anyone experienced something like this?
