Here's preview how Gboard "Split Keyboard" look on foldable devices. For now there's no option to enable it on regular device even with flags but we are looking into it.

So we actually got flags to enable SPLIT mode! It's recommended to use it on TABLET because on regular device the layout is broken and only works fine in landscape. In comments I'll try to post how to revert that.
