On keeping my word and maintaining my boundaries

Sometimes it's easy
Sometimes it's hard

Some days I almost break the silence that lays across the healing wounds like a thin gauze.
But I don't seek to bleed
nor invite infection.
I let the silence work its timely spell
I let the truths speak for themselves;
Who am I to know which words will capture them without bending, without tearing their wings?
