We were hugely disappointing to find the Truce mural defaced at the weekend.

A significant amount of work went into bringing this mural to fruition. The artist ADW Art spent days completing the piece but also spent months prior to that liaising with us, researching, designing and preparing the piece so it is a huge disappointment for them also. It was a beautiful and meaningful artwork that brightened up the area and commemorated an important part of our local and national history.

Michael Collins House are currently liaising with The Walls Project , who facilitated the project, and the artist to put a plan in place and see if the mural can be saved or what our options are moving forward....
