Peru Protesters Tear-Gassed After President’s Truce Plea
Just hours after embattled Peruvian President Dina Boluarte called for a “truce” followed by blaming protesters for the deadly violence sweeping the country, thousands took to the streets of the capital Lima only to be pelted and tear-gassed.
Boluarte had previously accused illegal miners, drug traffickers, and smugglers of forming a “paramilitary force” that sparked the violence that has killed 56 people - 45 in direct clashes with security forces - since former President Pedro Castillo was impeached and jailed for attempting to dissolve Congress almost two months ago.

❗️Israel Rebuffed US Request To Send Hawk Missiles To Ukraine — Axios Report
An Axios report claims the IDF denied a Biden admin request for old Hawk anti-aircraft missiles, stating that Israel does not supply weapons to Ukraine.
Israel also said the MIM-23 Hawk systems are not in working order due to long storage without proper maintenance, according to the report.
