Data from more than 200 million Twitter accounts has been leaked and posted by hackers on an online forum, a security analyst said on Wednesday.

In a post on LinkedIn, Alon Gal, the co-founder of Israeli cybersecurity firm Hudson Rock, revealed that the leak “contains 235,000,000 unique records of Twitter users and their email addresses.”

Former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger has joined CNN as a senior political commentator, the network confirmed on Wednesday, less than a week after his official departure from the House. He made his first appearance as a contributor on Erin Burnett OutFront, declaring he was “excited” to join the staff. 

Kinzinger opted not to seek another term representing Illinois in the House in 2021 as his theatrical stint as one of two Republicans on the January 6 committee tasked with investigating former President Donald Trump over the Capitol riot, along with his support for impeachment, had alienated many within his own party. Somalia Insurgents Kill 6

Islamist insurgents linked to al Shabaab reportedly killed at least six people during morning prayers on Friday in a Somalia village they’d been pushed out of last week by government forces.

Soldiers and militia were reportedly included in the death toll, after which al Shabaab claimed to have retaken the village of Hilowle Gaab - although authorities dispute the claim.

The spree follows Wednesday’s double car-bomb attack in Mahas that killed at least 35 and injured 40 more.
