US Schools Are ‘Cesspool Of Marxist Indoctrination’ — Senator
The Republican Party must support governors and school-board members who are fighting to prevent US educational institutions from becoming a “cesspool of Marxist indoctrination,” Senator Marco Rubio has said.
“Dangerous academic constructs like critical race theory and radical gender theory are being forced on elementary school children,” Rubio wrote in an article published in the American Conservative magazine on Tuesday.
The party needs to provide “reinforcements” to Republican governors and school-board members who are fighting against such ideas being taught to students, he said.

Loyal Dog Waits Two Years For Deceases Master
Dogor has become a regular attendee at meetings in Oleneksky district administrative office. He loves celebrations, and can often be found near the podium. During office hours he makes sure to visit everyone, even in the main office, where he assists district head Elena Stepanova.
Dogor, which means ‘friend’ in Yakut, is a very good dog, and still loves to visit the offices of the former head Alexander Ivanov, patiently waiting for the return of his late beloved master.
This 10-year-old most goodest of good boys once found a picture of his owner. He stared at it for hours. We’re not crying, honest.

❗️Russian Military Issues Update On Deadly Ukrainian Strike
Nearly 90 troops were killed by a Ukrainian missile strike that hit a temporary housing area used by Russian forces in the city of Makeyevka in Donetsk People’s Republic just after midnight on January 1, the Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The death toll has grown to 89 people, including the unit’s deputy commander, the ministry said, as more bodies were pulled from the rubble of a vocational school where the troops were stationed on New Year’s night.
The facility was targeted by six missiles from a US-supplied HIMARS multiple rocket launcher, four of which penetrated air defenses, and hit the building at precisely 0:01am on January 1, the Defense ministry said, claiming that the launcher was later destroyed in a retaliatory strike.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman and Security Minister Tom Tugendhat support the move, according to the newspaper.
