Four Abducted From Kenyan Ambulance in Suspected Al-Shabaab Attack

Two paramedics, a driver and a patient were ambushed and abducted by suspected members of the al-Shabaab extremist group in Kenya's north east, near the border with Somalia.

The al-Qaeda-linked group has not confirmed its responsibility for the attack, but has launched various assaults against Kenyan security forces - which defend Somalia’s government as part of the African Union’s peacekeeping force.

Al-Shabaab did claim responsibility for twin car bomb attacks in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday that killed at least 120 people.

Latvia Targeting Russian Media After Language Exam Law Passed
