Zelensky โ€˜Nullifiedโ€™ Grain Shipping Deal โ€” Russian Duma Speaker

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has rendered the internationally brokered grain shipping agreement void by using the safe passage in the Black Sea to strike Russian warships, Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the State Duma, the lower house of Russiaโ€™s parliament, said.

Moscow claims that Kiev dispatched attack drones via the route designated for grain vessels.

โ€œThe resumption of the grain deal is impossible as long as the safe corridor is being used for terrorist attacks,โ€ Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday. โ€œWith his actions, Zelensky has nullified all of the agreements that were brokered by Tรผrkiye and the UN.โ€

It's 100 years since the monarchy was abolished in Tรผrkiye but where is the country headed now?

100 years ago โ€“ on November 1, 1922 โ€“ the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Tรผrkiye, Mustafa Kemal Pasha, officially abolished the Ottoman Sultanate. Thus ended a monarchy whose origins stretched back to 1299. The Ottoman Empire was replaced by a new state, the Republic of Tรผrkiye, which was based on completely different political principles and a modern ideology. But nothing lasts forever: 100 years later, another charismatic leader has arisen who shows by his deeds that he does not take the legacy of the ico... ...

Ex-Democratic nominee wants the former president to pay her legal fees over โ€˜Russiagateโ€™ lawsuit

Former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton filed court papers on Monday in a bid to compel Donald Trump to pay her more than $1 million. According to the motion, she is demanding compensation for money spent fighting a lawsuit that alleged she had engaged in a conspiracy to undermine Trumpโ€™s 2016 presidential campaign by claiming he colluded with Russia.

Clintonโ€™s legal team described Trumpโ€™s civil action, which was dismissed earlier this year, as frivolous and โ€œa political stunt,โ€ according to a filing in a federal court in Florida. Lawyers argued t... ...

Setting a price cap on gas would disrupt the free market and hurt investment, energy minister Saad Al Kaabi says

EU nations that want to โ€œfixโ€ the gas market by capping prices are acting against their own laws that protect free competition, the energy minister of Qatar has said.

โ€œFree market is always the best solution, and if you try to fix the market you are going against all the anti-competition laws that the Europeans were trying to put on sellers โ€“ and now they are doing it themselves,โ€ Saad Al Kaabi told Bloomberg TV on Sunday.

Host Simone Foxman asked if he thought Brussels was being โ€œa bit hypocriticalโ€ with the proposed cap, to which the... ...
