RT World News (RSS)

According to the Collins Dictionary, 2022 has been “an extended period of instability and insecurity”

Collins Dictionary has named “Permacrisis” its word of the year for 2022, stating that the term sums up “how truly awful” it has been. Amid conflict, political upheaval and economic crises, political leaders have told the public to prepare for more of the same.

The oil and gas minister says New Delhi’s top priority is its own people

India sees no “moral conflict” in importing Russian oil despite the West’s attempts to curb Moscow’s revenues, Indian oil and gas minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, has said. The minister corrected Anderson by saying that...

According to the renowned economist, “everything will split in two”

A new world war is practically underway, “certainly in Ukraine and cyberspace,” economist Nouriel Roubini explained.

Last week, the New York University professor was interviewed by Der Spiegel and listed some of the world’s most acute problems.

Recalling a recent event hosted by the International Monetary Fund, he referred to historian Niall Ferguson who “said in a speech there that we would be lucky if we got an economic crisis like in the 1970s — and not a war like in the 1940s.”

When speaking about major global threats, Roubini mentioned the ongoing con...
