Why the US-Saudi relationship is withering
RT World News (RSS)

The OPEC+ oil production cut has taught Washington that Saudi Arabia is not merely a client state to be called on to fulfill Americaโ€™s political needs to its own detriment

Recently, the United States was outraged by Saudi Arabiaโ€™s decision, along with the rest of the OPEC+ countries, to scale back oil production by two million barrels per day. US President Joe Bidenโ€™s administration, which had banked on the goodwill of the kingdom to facilitate a drop in oil prices in order to isolate Russia with an energy price cap, quickly threatened unspecified retaliatory action agai...

Independent Scotland will have to join the euro โ€“ Brussels
RT World News (RSS)

Despite Nicola Sturgeonโ€™s claims, it will be โ€œimpossibleโ€ for Scotland to join the EU and not the single currency, officials say

Scotland will have to โ€œlegally commitโ€ to joining the euro if it gains independence and pursues membership of the European Union, two EU officials told the Herald on Sunday.
