Pakistan Riled By Bidenโs Nuclear Claim
Pakistan has summoned the US ambassador after President Joe Biden questioned the countryโs possession of nuclear weapons.
The foreign ministry as well as top current and former officials assured on Saturday that the state handles its arsenal in a responsible way.
Biden lashed out at Pakistan during a fundraiser event in Los Angeles, California on Thursday. As he described his relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, he noted that the Chinese leader had much on his plate at the moment, including Pakistan.
โThis is a guy who understands what he wants but has an enormous, enormous array of problems,โ Biden said. โHow do we handle that relative to whatโs going on in Russia? And what I think is maybe one of the most dangerous nations in the world: Pakistan. Nuclear weapons without any cohesion,โ Biden said.

Brittney Grinerโs Release Not Kremlin Concern โ Putin Aide
The possible release of US basketball star Brittney Griner is not a priority for the Kremlin while Joe Biden is more focused on the upcoming midterm elections, claimed Putin aide Yury Ushakov on Sunday.
โHe keeps emphasizing the need to bring (Griner) back home โฆ however, itโs not the main issue that we are concerned about,โ Ushakov explained.
Last week Biden said he would only consider meeting Vladimir Putin face-to-face at the G20 summit in Indonesia if his Russian counterpart was ready to discuss Grinerโs release.

An underwater camera has been used to document the damage to the Nord Stream pipelines. Swedish outlet Expressen says around 50m of the string appears to be missing or buried.
Norwegian photographer Trond Larsen from Blueye Robotics said only an extreme force could bend such thick metal - the outer diameter being 1.4 metres.
Sweden rejected a joint investigation with Denmark and Germany, claiming the data was too sensitive to share. Or as Tucker Carlson put it, it's extremely clear who did but we're not meant to find out.
