China & NATO Spar Over Ukraine Conflict โ Bloomberg
A senior NATO official clashed with a Chinese envoy over Beijingโs reluctance to follow the lead of Western countries and denounce Russia's role in the Ukraine conflict, Bloomberg reported on Saturday.
Speaking at the annual Arctic Circle Assembly, Admiral Rob Bauer, the chair of NATOโs Military Committee, reportedly accused China of โundermining the rules-based international order,โ adding that Beijing does not share the Westโs values.
He Rulong, Chinaโs ambassador to Iceland, challenged Bauer. โAdmiral, with due respect, your speech and remarks are filled with arrogance,โ he replied, as cited by Bloomberg.

Gazprom Outlines Consequences For Price Cap On Russian Gas
Plans to set a price cap on Russian gas sales, which are currently being considered by Western leaders, would cause supplies to be halted, according to Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller.
โWe rely on the contracts that have been signed. A unilateral decision of the kind is, of course, a violation of essential terms of the agreements which would lead to a termination of supplies,โ Miller said on Sunday in an interview with Russia 1 TV.
Numerous sanctions have been introduced by the US, EU, and allies on Moscow over its military operation in Ukraine. EU customers have so far reduced their purchases of Russian energy, and the G7 and EU are currently trying to introduce a price cap on Russiaโs oil and gas.

Ukraine Strikes Donetsk City Administration โ Mayor
Ukrainian forces have carried out a strike on Donetsk using the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launch system, with one missile hitting the city administration building, local authorities claimed on Sunday.
Alexey Kulemzin, the mayor of Donetsk, posted a video on his Telegram account depicting a pile of rubble around what appeared to be the city administration.
According to the territorial defense of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), four people were wounded during the shelling.
