Franceโ€™s law on its anti-Covid health pass took effect on Monday, meaning that many activities now require a QR code proving the bearer has received two vaccinations, tested negative within the previous 72 hours or recovered recently from Covid-19.

Those found to be in violation of the law risk a โ‚ฌ135 fine. Three fraudulent uses of a health pass in one month can lead to six months in prison and a โ‚ฌ3,750 fine. The managers of restaurants and other establishments who fail to check health passes more than three times in a 45-day period can be sentenced to one year in prison and a โ‚ฌ9,000 fine.

Kerrie is a 23-year-old from Dublin and says that she feels as though people with genuine concerns about the Covid-19 vaccine are being overlooked as "anti-vaxxers".

Kerrie has been trying for a baby with her partner for the last number of years, and struggled with a miscarriage in 2019.

"I'm currently struggling with some fertility issues," Kerrie explained to RSVP Live. "I have some fertility appointments booked for the next coming month to try and do some tests to see what the issue is."

Kerrie said that due to her uncertainty regarding her health, she doesn't feel comfortable getting the Covid-19 vaccine yet.
