"If you are watching this video, my brother Paul Pogba has found a way to silence me. I am no longer free," Mathias Pogba claims in a newly-released string of videos, in the latest bizarre twist in an explosive extortion case involving one of the world’s most prominent football players.

The seemingly pre-recorded "insurance" videos claim French icon Paul Pogba has plunged his family into poverty, put them at risk of retribution from gangsters, and spent millions on a witch doctor to "neutralize" rival Kylian Mbappé before a match in 2019.

Paris prosecutors have opened an investigation into allegations that Pogba's brother and childhood friends are attempting to extort €13 million from him. Mathias denies the claim.

UN Food Chief Warns Millions “Knocking on Famine’s Door”

Around 50 million people are now on the brink of famine, while even greater numbers face food insecurity, according to UN food chief David Beasley. (Associated Press)

“Fifty million people in 45 countries are knocking on famine’s door. If we don’t reach these people, you will have famine, starvation, destabilization of nations unlike anything we saw in 2007-2008 and 2011, and you will have mass migration.”

The reason for the food crisis is the fact that grain shipments from both Ukraine and Russia, which typically export enough goods to feed hundreds of millions of people, have fallen sharply. Economic sanctions on Russia have exacerbated the issue, as fertilizer exports from Russia, the world’s second-largest producer behind China, have declined significantly.
