Ukrainian ‘Acts of Terrorism’ Would Cause Disaster ‘Dwarfing’ Chernobyl – Russian Foreign Ministry
Continued shelling of the Zaporozhye plant by Ukrainian forces is putting millions of lives in East and Central Europe at risk, according to deputy spox Ivan Nechaev - yet Kiev continues to deny it is responsible for the attacks.
“We are in favor of organizing an IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency] mission … which was disrupted in June due to … the UN Secretariat’s Department of Safety and Security,” Nechaev added.
Ukrainian attacks are now being repelled and countered by Russian forces, according to local Zaporozhye administration - but Russian Foreign Ministry spox Maria Zakharova warns that Ukraine “apparently won’t hesitate to burn [the plant] for the sake of their Nazi idols”.

US Seeking to ‘Exhaust and Crush’ Russia, Beijing Claims
The Ukraine conflict is being prolonged so that the US can pursue its agenda of weakening Moscow, the Chinese Ambassador to Russia claimed in a TASS interview - while describing the US as the “initiator and chief arsonist of the Ukraine crisis”.
Zhang Hanhui said that the US was seeking to artificially extend the crisis with sanctions and is deliberately causing instability the world over. US hegemony and power is the “greatest challenge to progress and the peaceful development of human civilization” he claimed.
He reminded Washington that Taiwan remains an integral part of China, and warned against further American meddling, “today’s China is not the China of one hundred years ago, which was poor and weak, and let others decide its fate”.
