Apple Tells Taiwan Supplier To Comply With Chinaโs Labeling Rules
Apple has reportedly told its suppliers in Taiwan to ensure they follow Chinese customs regulations regarding national labeling.
The company apparently "has started strictly enforcing a long-standing rule that Taiwanese-made parts and components must be labeled as being made either in "Taiwan, China" or "Chinese Taipei.โโ
Labels such as โMade in Taiwanโ could cause customs hold-ups, fines and even shipments being rejected.
