'Does [Biden] feel like [OPEC+'s tiny output] increase was an insult?'- reporter's question leaves WH spokesperson BAFFLED

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was left perplexed by a question on a minuscule increase in oil output by the OPEC+ group despite the efforts undertaken by US President Joe Biden.

Asked whether Biden takes the oil regulator's move as 'an insult', Jean-Pierre was unable to hide her facial expression.

The media slammed the tiny increase by the OPEC group by only 100,000 barrels a day as Biden's political failure as he personally visited Saudi Arabia, calling to boost the oil output in a bid to lower the prices.

Beirut: Picking Up the Pieces

โ€˜I thought it was a nuclear blast. Limbs and blood were everywhere,โ€™ Fouad El Herzek remembers the horrific explosion that rocked Beirut 2 years ago. Fouad, together with some 300,000 other people, became homeless after his house was completely destroyed. A massive explosion destroyed the port, killing hundreds and injuring thousands.

Tonnes of ammonium nitrate had been stored in the port for years with no safety measures in place. Many who lost loved ones are still waiting for the government to name the culprits. The tragedy has prompted fury among residents, who call for immediate action. They want to know who was aware of the danger but did nothing to prevent the explosion.

On the day of the catastrophe watch our documentary Beirut: Picking Up the Pieces to listen to explosion victimsโ€™ stories.

China's 'lack of response' to Pelosi visit is not weakness โ€” it's strategy
RT World News (RSS)

After the world watched with bated breath for Beijingโ€™s reaction to the American stunt, the lack of a flare-up may seem underwhelming โ€“ but itโ€™s not

Sparks flew on Tuesday night as Nancy Pelosi commenced her highly publicized trip to Taiwan, proclaiming a global struggle between democracy and authoritarianism and effectively poking her fingers into Beijingโ€™s eyes. It goes without saying that China was furious, yet amidst the social media storm which precluded the visit, a bizarre atmosphere of disappointment arose afterwards among some, who...

Seoulโ€™s โ€˜Danuriโ€™ spacecraft is on its way to lunar orbit after launching on a rocket produced by SpaceX

South Korea has embarked on its first mission to the moon, launching a craft intended to scout out future landing sites on the lunar surface and collect valuable scientific data from low orbit for at least one year.

The โ€˜Danuriโ€™ orbiter successfully launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Thursday night, traveling atop a Falcon 9 rocket produced by American firm SpaceX. After around 40 minutes, the craft separated from the rocketโ€™s second stage and began its trip to the moon in earnest, a journey expected to take several months.

ELEPHANT in the ROOM: Five billion dollars paid out for vaccine-induced injuries in two decades, but nobody ever casts proper blame in mainstream media
Are you or a loved one suffering from "ABV" - Anything Besides Vaccines disease? Mainstream media, most doctors, and most nurses across the US are suffering from ABV disease, where no matter what, they can never blame vaccines for any health damage, disease, disorder or even death. Some are just brainwashed. Others fear for their jobs. Even when the injury is sustained immediately after getting a toxic jab, like the mRNA or J&J Covid stab, they still won't admit the damage is from the vaccine.

โ€œWeirdโ€ SpaceX Debris Find For Australian Sheep Farmer

A charred chunk of one of SpaceX missions was confirmed to have been found by an Australian sheep farmer in a remote area near Australiaโ€™s Snowy Mountains, about five hours from Sydney.

โ€œIt was kind of exciting and weird all in the same way,โ€ astrophysicist Brad Tucker, who visited the site after local farmers contacted him last month, told AFP, describing the find as something out of the sci-fi film โ€œ2001: A Space Odysseyโ€.

The debris turned out to be a trunk jettisoned by the earlier Crew-1 capsule when it re-entered Earthโ€™s atmosphere in 2021.

Moscow Reacts to Amnesty Report on Ukrainian Use of โ€˜Human Shieldsโ€™

A report by Amnesty International accusing Ukraine of placing its military assets in residential areas only corroborates what Moscow has been saying throughout the conflict with Kiev, Russiaโ€™s FM spox Maria Zakharova has said.

โ€œWeโ€™ve been talking about this constantly, calling the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces the tactics of using civilians as a โ€˜human shield,โ€™โ€ Zakharova wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

The UK-based human rights group has issued a report which accuses the Ukrainian military of violating international law and risking civilian safety by placing troops and military vehicles in residential areas, including turning hospitals into de facto military bases.
